The Family Alliance of Paulding is committed to promoting activities that enrich the lives and address the needs, issues, and concerns of women, men, and their families by providing community leadership, advocacy, education, vital social services, and opportunities for individual development.
The Family Visitation Center strives to provide a safe, comfortable, and accessible environment in which supervised visitation opportunities for children and families (involved in juvenile court) can take place.
Every year over one hundred Paulding County children enter the juvenile court system as a result of abuse or neglect. Supervised parent-child visitations are crucial to the process of bringing parents and their children back together. These visits not only provide feedback to the court on the progress of a family, but more importantly, they allow participants to maintain their familial bond.
The Meth Alliance of Paulding's office is in the Family Center. The Meth Alliance of Paulding provides free training to any Paulding County resident about the hazards of Meth use. the Meth Alliance also assists those already addicted in finding treatment resources.
